About Me

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, I've been drawing for about as long as I've been reading and writing. Little did I know at that young age that someday I would be able to make a living from my favorite pastime. After constantly drawing throughout Middle and High School (including times when perhaps I should have been paying attention to the lesson) I made the decision that I would try to make a career out of my passion.

Immediately out of High School I applied for and got accepted to attend The Art Institute of Los Angeles. There I met a whole bunch of others just like me, as well as a great faculty - all of whom inspired and pushed me to grow as an artist and continue to get better and better.

Immediately after graduating with my Bachelor's Degree from AiLA, I was hired to be in charge of Character Design/3D Modeling for a graphic design company, doing CG work for print. There I got to model some of my favorite characters, including Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, as well as a few original creations.

After that, I interviewed at Heavy Iron Studios, where I was hired to be an Environment/Prop Artist. I had a blast building worlds for Spongebob and Pixar titles, as I was a huge fan of both. I eventually transitioned into the Character Artist position, and had happily contributed character models and concept art for the remainder of my time there.

I have since gone on to do freelance work, and have worked on characters and environments/props for TV pilots and other gaming ventures. I am currently seeking work that will allow me to showcase my skills as well as allow me to continue to grow as an artist, in both 2D and 3D. I have over 10 years working in the games industry, shipped 7 titles over various consoles (old and next gen), worked as a Concept Artist, Environment/Prop Artist, & Character Artist. I hope to keep growing as an artist, as I am very enthusiastic and passionate about what I do.
